Winter Weather Update - January 27, 2015
What to expect when winter weather hits.
With public safety of paramount importance, all modes of MBTA service will be suspended all day and night on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Heavy snow and wind gusts are expected throughout the day Tuesday, January 27. The MBTA has put its winter plan into action in preparation for the storm
Additionally, in order to enhance snow removal efforts, customers are prohibited from parking overnight at any MBTA station parking lots. Overnight parking in MBTA parking garages is permitted from 6 p.m. on January 26 until 5 a.m. January 28 with the following daily rates:
- $4/day at Lynn Station
- $5/day at Beverly, Salem, and Wonderland Stations
- $6/day at Woodland Station
- $7/day at Alewife, Braintree, Quincy Adams, and Route 128 Stations
