This Weekend - Bus Replacement Service On Blue Line

Between Airport and Government Center Stations


To accommodate construction for the States Street Station Modernization project, MBTA bus replacement service will be necessary between Airport and Government Center Stations on Friday September 28th, Saturday September 29th, and Sunday September 30th, 2007.

Commencing at 8:00p.m on Friday September 28th, and continuing through the end of service on Sunday September 30th, Maverick, Aquarium, State Street, and Government Center Stations will be CLOSED.  Blue Line service between Airport and Government Center Stations will be replaced with free shuttle bus service.  Shuttle bus service will stop at each station, and will operate in accordance with regular train schedules.

Shuttle buses are free; standard fares will be collected at all stations between Wonderland and Airport Stations.


LOGAN AIRPORT TRAVELERS NOTE: Customers can take advantage of Silver Line service to Logan Airport from South Station. Airport-bound Silver Line vehicles will depart every (12) twelve minutes on Saturday.

Normal Blue Line service will resume at the start of service on Monday, October 1, 2007.
