Back Bay Station Dartmouth Street Underpass Temporary Closure

BOSTON - March 4, 2016 - Beginning this Sunday, the Dartmouth Street Underpass between the Copley Mall and Back Bay Station will be out of service. This temporary closure, which will continue through December, will allow for needed repairs to the underpass and accommodate construction work in Copley Place Mall being performed by the Simon Company.

MBTA personnel will be on-hand to provide customers with assistance, and provide direction to escalator and elevator locations. Customers are encouraged to use the station's main entrance on the east side of Dartmouth Street during the closure.

The MBTA appreciates the patience of its customers during the period of construction.
