Posted on June 23, 2016

Hyannis, MA - The CapeFLYER, the seasonal train service from Boston to Hyannis, is reminding customers that there will be extra service over the busy 4th of July weekend this year. Specifically, in addition to the weekly slate of trains on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, there will be service on Monday, July 4th. The Monday train will operate on a Saturday/Sunday schedule - leaving South Station at 8AM and returning from Hyannis at 6:40PM and making all of the intermediate stops (Braintree, Brockton, Middleboro, Wareham, Buzzards Bay) along the way. A complete schedule and information about fares available at www.capeflyer.com.

"There is no better place to be over the 4th of July than the Cape and Islands - in addition to the baseball games, beaches and barbeques , there are road races, fireworks and everything that we look forward to during the winter," said Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority Administrator Thomas Cahir. "Whether you are visiting family and friends or just coming down for the day, don't worry about the traffic, but leave your car at home and let the train be your ride over the canal."

The CapeFLYER can conveniently bring you to the Cape without needing a car and has connections throughout the region.
