Scope of Work
Work consists of repairs to and/or superstructure replacement of nine (9) bridges along the proposed Wachusett Extension of the MBTA’s Fitchburg Commuter Rail Line on Pan Am Railways ROW in the Towns of Fitchburg and Westminster, Massachusetts. These improvements will be made while maintaining one mainline track in service at all times during construction operations. Any additional Contractor proposed track outages will be subject to approval of the MBTA and Pan Am Southern, LLC. These improvements will also be made in coordination with ongoing track and signal work by others in accordance with the Project Schedule.
