Accessibility Initiatives Report

On December 6, 2022, the Department of System-Wide Accessibility released its newest updates to MBTA access initiatives. The report provides descriptions and updates on completed and ongoing accessibility projects.

Public Meeting on Accessibility

The MBTA and the Honorable Judge Patrick King hosted a virtual public meeting on December 7, 2022, from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM. This meeting provided an update on our path towards compliance with the Daniels-Finegold v. MBTA settlement agreement focused on accessibility. The General Manager and other MBTA officials provided updates and answered questions about ongoing accessibility initiatives. This meeting focused on bus, subway, and Commuter Rail accessibility, not The RIDE.
