T-Alerts
When major service disruptions occur, our dispatchers send T-Alerts to alert riders of delays. These T-Alerts are posted at MBTA.com and sent by email or text to our riders. We make T-Alerts available to developers for inclusion in apps. This data is especially important when major delays occur. Dispatchers keep alerts updated informing users of your apps about what to expect when even the best prediction can′t do the job.
Accessing the RSS Feed
You can access Alerts for each line or station (for elevators) by attaching the key for that piece of infrastructure at the end of the feed string.
