Accessible Services

Government Center Public Information Meeting to be Held on Wednesday

In an effort to improve accessibility at the MBTA's Government Center Station, the MBTA will be closing the station for 2 years so that construction work can take place. Once construction work is complete, Government Center will have new elevators as well as other accessibility enhancements that will improve the customer experience for customers with disabilities at this highly-used rail station. T officials will be meeting with the public on Wednesday, December 12 to discuss the reconstruction as well as how construction efforts may effect your commute. Excerpt from MBTA staff:

"This coming Wednesday there will be a public meeting to discuss the Government Center rehab project as well as what will be happening while the station is closed during construction. This project represents a major milestone for access and it would be great to have your continued support at the meeting."

Meeting Date: Wednesday, December 12
Time: 5:30 – 7:00 PM
Meeting Address: 100 Cambridge Street, 2nd Floor, Conference Rooms B,C,D (Boston MA)
