Getting to Logan International Airport is easy no matter where you are.

The MBTA offers Blue Line Subway service and Silver Line Bus Rapid Transit service from downtown Boston.


Blue Line to the Airport

The Blue Subway Line is your best connection to and from the Orange and Green Lines at State Street Station. Take the MBTA Blue Line to and from the newly renovated Airport Station and board free Massport shuttle buses to all airline terminals.

The Blue Line runs from approximately 6:00AM to 12:30AM every day of the week.

Silver Line to the Airport

Silver Line route SL1 (Logan Airport - South Station via Waterfront) bus rapid transit service, available at South Station, is your best direct connection to and from the Airport. With drop off and pick up in front of Logan terminals, it′s the most convenient option. There′s no shuttle transfers and plenty of room to store your baggage.

The Silver Line SL1 runs from approximately 5:30AM to 12:30AM every day of the week.

MBTA Commuter Boat to the Airport

Take MBTA ferries to Logan Airport from the Quincy commuter boat terminal located at Fore River Shipyard, 703 Washington Street in Quincy or from Pemberton Point in Hull.  Upon arrival at the Logan dock take the FREE Massport Route 66 Shuttle Bus, which services all airport terminals.  Commuter Boat service from Quincy operates 7-days-a-week. Getting to Logan from All Points

From the Northeast:

Take the Blue Line to Airport Station and the Massport shuttle bus to the terminals—other options include Routes 448 & 449 from Marblehead or Route 459 from Salem all of which serve Logan Airport Terminal C.

From the North:

Take the Orange Line to State and transfer to the Blue Line then take the Blue Line to Airport Station and the Massport shuttle bus to the terminals.

From the West:

Take the Green Line to Government Center and transfer to the Blue Line then take the Blue Line to Airport Station and the Massport shuttle bus to the terminals—or —take Commuter Rail to South Station and transfer to the Silver Line (SL1) which serves all airport terminals.

From the Northwest:

Take the Red Line to South Station and transfer to the Silver Line (SL1) which serves all airport terminals.

From the South:

Take the Orange Line to State and transfer to the Blue Line; take the Blue Line to Airport Station and then the Massport shuttle bus to the terminals--or-- take Commuter Rail or the Red Line to South Station and transfer to the Silver Line (SL1) which serves all airport terminals--or—for early morning service take the Route 171 from Dudley or Andrew directly to the terminals.

From the Southeast

Take Commuter Rail or the Red Line to South Station and transfer to the Silver Line (SL1), which serves all airport terminals OR take MBTA Harbor Express ferries from the Quincy commuter boat terminal located at 703 Washington Street in Quincy or from Pemberton Point in Hull to Logan Airport, there connect to the free Massport Route 66 Shuttle Bus for service to all airport terminals.
