ATTENTION MBTA PARKING PATRONS
In order to improve the convenience and experience of our commuters, MBTA Parking Services will be testing PayByPhone as the only means of payment at Quincy Adams surface parking spaces and Braintree garage spaces in the pick-up and drop-off area. This pilot will not apply to the gated spaces inside of the garages.
You have the option to sign up for PayByPhone by downloading the free mobile app or by calling the number 866-234-7275 on the PayByPhone signs posted in the parking lot and following the payment instructions. Sign up is done in less than three minutes and payment take seconds. At Quincy Adams and Braintree, payments will be license-plate based.
If you opt for not using PayByPhone, a $7 parking fee invoice will be left on your vehicle. You have twenty-one (21) calendar days to pay this parking fee to avoid additional penalties. Follow the payment or appeal procedure on the back of each invoice to address the invoice in a timely manner in order to avoid penalties.
With over 55,000 available parking spaces in 103 locations, the MBTA is the largest owner of off-street paid parking in New England. Most of the parking options are MBTA-maintained, while others are owned and operated by municipalities.
Daily Parking rates range from $4 - $7 per day.
Overnight Parking is available at a limited number of facilities with a special overnight rate charged at some locations. There is a seven day maximum for overnight parking.
Winter Parking: After snow accumulation during the winter months, MBTA parking facilities implement their Snow Policy and you are not required to pay in advance. Visit Winter Parking for more information regarding the Snow Policy.
Surcharges: A $1 surcharge will be incurred for customers who do not pay in advance. Failure to pay the full parking fee and $1 surcharge within twenty one calendar days will incur an additional $20 surcharge. Visit Parking Regulations for more information regarding parking fines and surcharges.

If you do not have a smart phone or if you prefer to call in, you can register and park using PayByPhone’s dial-in service. Simply call 1-866-234-7275 and follow the prompts to either register or park.

New Non-Payment Violation Notices
Please follow the instructions on the back of your nonpayment violation to make payment. To pay your parking ticket online, visit www.parkingticketpayment.com/mbta. Please note there is a $3.50 surcharge per violation. We encourage all customers to pay through the mail.
