Spring 2013 Bus Schedule Changes
Beginning Saturday, March 23, 2013 bus schedules will change on the following bus routes:
Saturday departures will change throughout the day.
Sunday departures will change throughout the day.
Weekday departures will change between 10:00AM and 2:00PM.
Weekday departures will change between 6:00PM and 8:00PM.
Saturday departures will change between 9:00AM and 6:00PM.
Sunday departures will change throughout the day.

Saturday departures will change between 8:00AM and 5:00PM.
Diesel buses will temporarily replace all electric trolley buses running on Route 72
Due to construction on Bennett Alley and eventually Huron Avenue as well, overhead trolley wires in Cambridge will be de-energized. Construction is expected to last into 2014.
Harvard customers: Please continue to use the Upper Busway, at the same berth location.
There will be no changes to service times. Current service levels will be maintained.
Some bus stops may be temporarily affected on Mount Auburn Street, near Bennett Alley and University Road. Cambridge′s contractor for the project will notify customers if a stop is affected.
Outbound trips to Malden Station will no longer travel via Malden Square after 1:52PM in order to improve service reliability.
Trips which do travel via Malden Square will continue to be labeled with a “d” note on the schedule card.
Departure times will be modified by up to 5 minutes in order to improve service reliability.
One morning inbound trip will be added in order to relieve crowding; departure times will be adjusted before 5:00AM.
Departure times will be adjusted after 7:00AM in order to improve service reliability.
Departure times will be adjusted after 2:00PM in order to improve service reliability.
Blue Line trains will not be stopping at Orient Heights Station, please use either Wood Island or Maverick Stations for transfers.
Departure times will be modified by up to 5 minutes in order to improve service reliability.

Due to the Closure of the Blue Line Orient Heights Station Routes 712/713 schedules and routes have been modified.
For service to and from the Blue Line
Monday-Friday buses will travel between Winthrop and Wood Island Station. Exit the Blue Line at Wood Island to transfer to Route 712/713. Use the bus stops at Saratoga St. and St. Edwards Rd. for service to the Orient Heights area.
Saturday-Sunday buses will travel between Winthrop and Airport Station. Exit the Blue Line at Airport to transfer to Route 712/713. Use the bus stops at Saratoga St. and St. Edwards Rd. for service to the Orient Heights area.
Departure times will change for weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Route 716 inbound will no longer service the stop on Route 138 across from Royall Street. Bus can be flagged down on Royall Street.
