Take the T to the 2022 U.S. Open Championship

The 122nd U.S. Open Championship, hosted by the United States Golf Association (USGA), will take place June 13 – 19, 2022.

The world’s greatest players will compete for the coveted U.S. Open Trophy—awarded to the champion annually since 1895—on the grand stage of The Country Club in Brookline. Practice Rounds will take place Monday – Wednesday, June 13 – 15, and Championship Rounds will take place Thursday – Sunday, June 16 – 19.

Planning Your Trip

The MBTA is the easiest and most convenient way to get to the U.S. Open Championship. Riders can take the subway, bus, or Commuter Rail.

Complimentary shuttles will be provided between The Country Club and the stations listed below. Select a station from this list to plan your trip, or visit our trip planner to compare routes.

Paying Your Fare

Parking

There is no general U.S. Open parking at The Country Club. Street parking will be restricted, with rules enforced by the Town of Brookline.

Tickets to the U.S. Open include the cost of parking at 100 MBTA stations with parking facilities. We encourage fans to park at one of these facilities (list available below) and then take the subway, bus, or Commuter Rail to the event.

Commuter Rail riders may wish to park at the Route 128 Station Parking Garage, which offers service to Forest Hills station.

Safety and Security

To ensure your safety during the U.S. Open Championship, additional MBTA staff and Transit Police will be available at nearby MBTA stations. Please follow these guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.

If you need to report an emergency, please call 911 or the Transit Police at 617-222-1212.

Accessibility

The USGA is committed to providing a positive and user-friendly experience for all fans with disabilities. Accessible parking spaces for all vehicles with appropriate HD/DP license plates or placards will be reserved at all parking locations. Fans requiring lift-equipped transportation should contact the USGA Admissions Department at tickets@usga.org ahead of the championship to receive specific parking instructions.

The USGA will provide complimentary lift-equipped shuttles to and from all remote championship parking lots and the championship-designated MBTA train stations mentioned above. Furthermore, the Disability Services Committee will be on-site to assist fans with disabilities with multiperson golf cart transportation to and from designated stops, specific ADA friendly grandstand locations, and accessible facilities throughout the golf course.
