Event Description

MBTA Fare Collection Boston City Council Public Forum

The MBTA is developing a new fare payment system that will make paying for transit easier and service faster. The new system, Automated Fare Collection 2.0, will incorporate new ways to pay, expand access to fare cards and passes, and allow for new approaches to fares. These improvements are in an effort to modernize and streamline how you interact with the MBTA. And the T needs your help to make this happen.

Boston City Council and the MBTA are partnering to host this public forum to provide a space for the MBTA to share information about the project and let you know how you can get involved in important policy decisions that still need to be made.
