Lynn Transit Action Plan Public Information Meeting

Meeting Info

Date: February 11, 2020 at 6 PM - 8 PM

Location: North Shore Community College • 300 Broad Street • Lynn, MA

Attendees: General Public

Event Description

In early 2019, the MBTA Focus40 plan identified Lynn as a priority place to target potential improvements to public transportation.

Through 2019 and 2020, the Lynn Transit Action Plan will identify strategies for faster, more reliable transit services for the city, into Boston, and throughout the North Shore. Changes may include improvements to bus, subway, ferry, and Commuter Rail service.

The goal of this effort is to make it easier for Lynn residents to get where they need to go with public transit. In the long-run, this analysis and discovery will uncover how both large and small improvements to transportation can help Lynn become better connected and more integrated in the region’s economy.

The Lynn Transit Action Plan team invites you to an Open House where you can learn about potential improvements to transit service and engage with project staff. In addition to the LTAP project team, representatives from other ongoing Commonwealth projects and initiatives will be present to discuss their respective projects, including the Northern Strand Trail, Rail Vision, Better Bus Project, and more! During the Open House the project team will also give a short presentation about the plan for interested attendees.

Spanish translation services will be available at the meeting.

Intérpretes se encuentran disponibles en la reunión.
