MBTA routes operate on weekend schedules for most major federal and state holidays.

Labor Day (Monday, September 6, 2021)

No service on the F1 (Hingham – Boston).

All other Ferry lines will run on a weekend schedule.

All other modes will run on a Sunday schedule.

Holidays that do not have modified service are not listed above. This includes Juneteenth, Columbus Day and Veterans' Day. All services will operate on a regular schedule on the day that the holiday is observed.
Some routes do not operate on weekends, and they will not be in service if the route is operating on a weekend schedule.
