To Allow National Grid Work, Green Line Service between Babcock and Boston College Will Be Replaced with Shuttle Buses for 10 Days

Green Line B Branch trolleys will be replaced with shuttle buses between Babcock Street and Boston College Stations beginning at the start of service on Monday, August 10, through the end of service on Wednesday, August 19, due to urgent National Grid repairs taking place near the intersection of Linden Street and Commonwealth Avenue. The duration of the repairs and the associated reconstruction of the affected grade crossing is scheduled to take 10 days. Regular trolley service will resume at the start of service on Thursday, August 20. 
 
The free, accessible shuttle buses will make all stops between Babcock Street and Boston College. Face coverings are required while onboard shuttle buses and within the MBTA system. 

Shuttles replace train service between Boston College and Babcock Street.
