Minor time adjustments in anticipation of fall/winter weather and for construction projects
The MBTA and Keolis Commuter Services (Keolis), the agency’s operating partner for Commuter Rail, have announced the new Fall/Winter schedule which will take effect on November 18. Schedules for all lines are available online at mbta.com/cr. The Fall/Winter schedule maintains consistent service throughout the day, late at night, and on weekends. Minor adjustments have been made to accommodate construction activity and to allow for fall/winter weather conditions.
“We’re pleased to continue to offer frequent Regional Rail-style service for Commuter Rail passengers this fall and winter,” said MBTA General Manager and CEO Phillip Eng. “With our operating partners at Keolis, these schedules have been developed to accommodate passengers and commuters traveling any time of day or during the weekend during this cold-weather time of year. We hope members of the public consider leaving their cars at home this season and make the Commuter Rail their preferred mode of travel.”
“We’re pleased to continue offering passengers consistent, all-day service on the Commuter Rail as ridership approaches pre-pandemic levels,” said Abdellah Chajai, CEO and General Manager of Keolis Commuter Services. “It has never been easier or more convenient to leave your car behind and just take the train.”
