The first Green Line trolley vehicles have arrived at the GLX Vehicle Maintenance Facility for testing, training, and commissioning in the coming months (September 2021)

A total of 24 new trolleys were purchased to accommodate the increased ridership from six new stations, plus the newly relocated Lechmere Station.

Currently, 23 of the 24 new trolleys are in operation on the existing Green Line. All trolleys (new and existing) will be interspersed over the new GLX track once the project is complete.
