Green Line Transformation Weekly Progress Update: February 7 – 12

GLT projects will improve safety, reliability, and access for Green Line riders and the surrounding communities.
Last week, crews installed the steel beams that will support the new tracks on the Lechmere Viaduct. The project is now at 54% completion.
Construction will begin on the B Branch Consolidation project on Monday, February 15.

As part of our $9.6 billion, 5-year capital investment plan, we're renovating stations, modernizing fare collection systems, upgrading services for our buses, subways, and ferries, and improving the accessibility of the entire system.
