• Schedule Change Upcoming

  The new Spring/Summer Commuter Rail schedules go into effect on Monday, May 23rd. Visit MBTA.com to see how we adapted your train service.
  The Spring/Summer schedule maintains the same frequent weekday service introduced in 2021, with a few changes to train times in order to factor increasing ridership, weather conditions and track work.
  
  Holiday service:
  On Memorial Day (May 30th), July 4th and Labor Day (September 5th), the Commuter Rail will operate on a weekend schedule.
  On Columbus Day (October 10th) and Juneteenth (observed on June 20th), the Commuter Rail will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

  On Saturday, May 21, Haverhill Line Train 1215 (10:55 pm from North Station) will be held at North Station until 15 minutes after the conclusion of the Celtics game.

• Service Change Upcoming

  On Sat, May 21 & Sun, May 22, from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm, inbound trains on the Haverhill line will be replaced by bus shuttles between North Wilmington and Malden Center for an Orange Line connection to allow for work on the Lynn Fells Parkway bridge.
  Trains will make all stops between Haverhill and Ballardvale and operate express between Ballardvale and North Station via the Lowell Line.
  The bus shuttle will connect with the train at Ballardvale and make all stops through Malden Center. It will operate near train schedule but passengers may experience longer journey times.
  Passengers can also consider MBTA Bus 137 for service between Reading Depot and Malden Center.
  Outbound trains will operate as intended and make all scheduled stops between North Station and Haverhill however they may experience delays up to 20 minutes.
  Shuttle buses will be free and ADA accessible.
  No bikes are allowed on shuttle buses.

  Train 1204/2204 (10:35 am from Haverhill)
