On January 23rd, the 2021 Winter Service Schedule will go into effect. This Schedule will introduce: - Additional trains on the Middleborough, Fairmount and Newburyport Lines. - A revised weekend service with trains only operating on the Fairmount, Worcester, Providence, Middleborough, and Newburyport/Rockport lines. Paper Schedules will be available in South Station, North Station and Back Bay starting the week of January 18th.

Service Change
On weekends, starting January 23rd and until further notice, bus shuttles replace train service between Rockport and Beverly. Buses may depart before the scheduled times. Please check new Winter schedule on MBTA.com/schedules.
Bikes cannot be taken substitute bus service.

Through Summer 2021: All Rockport Line trains originate at W. Gloucester & terminate at Manchester to allow for work on the Gloucester Drawbridge. Buses will replace service between Manchester & Rockport. MBTA.com/RKPwork
