Buses will replace train service between Beverly and the Orange Line at Wellington Station on July 9-10, July 16-17 and July 21-24. On July 30-31, and on August 4-7, shuttle buses will operate between Beverly and North Station. MBTA.com/northstation
There will be no service at Chelsea and River Works. Please ride Silver Line #3 as an alternative. The weekend diversion schedule to Wellington (July 9-10, July 16-17 and July 23-24) is now available. Fares Train fares should be purchased between originating station and Beverly. There is no cost to ride the bus shuttle, or to access to the Orange Line inbound. A one-way subway fare will be required for the return trip on the Orange Line. Improvements underway During this time, the existing, aged, signaling system, which controls all tracks in and around North Station, will be replaced with state-of the art technology. When installed, the new system will reduce signal failures and train delays, and improve efficiency and safety. In addition, an ongoing signal system upgrade will be continuing on the Newburyport/Rockport Line.

Service will be FREE after 9:30pm and bikes will not be allowed on board.
