  Orange Line: Shuttle Buses are replacing service between Forest Hills and Back Bay/Copley through Oct 20. On Oct 12 -14 the work will extend to North Station. Use the Green Line between Copley and North Station. Commuter Rail alternates are available. MBTA.com/orangeline
  

  Commuter Rail Alternatives:
  Riders are encouraged to use fare-free commuter rail service between Forest Hills, Ruggles, Back Bay, and South Station.
  On October 8 through October 20, a temporary schedule will be in effect with additional Franklin/Foxboro Line weekday train service at Forest Hills to accommodate Orange Line passengers. The Commuter Rail schedule can be found here - MBTA.com/schedules/CR-Franklin/timetable

  Orange Line: Shuttle buses replace service between Oak Grove and Ruggles the weekend of Oct 26 - 27 and from Oak Grove to North Station from Oct 28 - Nov 1. This is to allow for track work and station upgrades. MBTA.com/orangeline
  Riders north of downtown are encouraged to consider the Haverhill Commuter Rail Line for fare-free service to and from Oak Grove, Malden Center, and North Station. Regular fares should be purchased beyond Oak Grove.
  Riders south of downtown are encouraged to use Commuter Rail for fare-free service between Forest Hills, Ruggles, Back Bay, and South Station. Regular fares should be purchased beyond Forest Hills.

  Malden Center Elevator 945 (Lobby to Orange Line platform) unavailable due to maintenance
  A shuttle bus will be available to transport customers between Malden Center and Oak Grove. To exit the Orange Line, exit the train at Oak Grove and find station personnel or use a station call box to request the shuttle bus to Malden Center. To board the Orange Line, find station personnel or use a station call box at Malden Center to request the shuttle bus to Oak Grove. Alternatively, customers may also use Bus Routes 132, 136 or 137 for transportation between Malden Center and Oak Grove.

  Chinatown Elevator 876 (Oak Grove platform to Washington St, Essex St) unavailable on Sat Oct 19 due to maintenance
  To exit, exit the train at Tufts Medical Center and proceed to the Washington St exit. At street level, cross Washington St, then take a Silver Line SL4 or SL5 bus to Washington St and Essex St (Chinatown Station). Alternatively, if possible, travel 0.2 miles north on Washington St to Chinatown Station. To board, use Chinatown Elevator 922 to access the Forest Hills platform. Take an Forest Hills-bound train to Tufts Medical Center transfer to an Oak Grove-bound train.

  To exit, upon exiting the faregates, turn left and proceed to Oak Grove Elevator 745 to access the busway and parking lot. To board, proceed to the station entrance located near the busway and use Oak Grove Elevator 745 to access the lobby. Alternatively, customers may utilize Oak Grove Elevator 744 (Lobby to Washington St.) located at the entrance on Washington St.
