Service Change

Effective through Spring 2024, the entrances to Natick Center station are relocated to Washington Street for access to the inbound and outbound platforms. MBTA.com/natickcenter

North Avenue entrance and Walnut Street entrance will remain closed until further notice.
This access change will allow for work on the new platforms as part of Natick Center Station Accessibility Improvements Project.

Schedule Change

On the weekends of June 1-2 & June 8-9, Providence Line Train 1811/2811 will depart South Station and operate 5 minutes earlier than normal through Providence. This temporary schedule adjustment will allow for switch replacement work.

Franklin line passengers, please be aware Train 1811/2811 will also depart Back Bay, Ruggles and Hyde park 5 minutes earlier than normal.

-Buses will be free & accessible.
-Bikes will not be allowed on-board buses.

Oak Grove Elevator 800 (Busway, Commuter Rail, parking lot to lobby) unavailable due to maintenance

To exit, upon exiting the faregates, turn left and proceed to Oak Grove Elevator 745 to access the busway and parking lot. To board, proceed to the station entrance located near the busway and use Oak Grove Elevator 745 to access the lobby. Alternatively, customers may utilize Oak Grove Elevator 744 (Lobby to Washington St.) located at the station entrance on Washington St.

Service Change

On the weekends of June 1-2 & June 8-9, there will be no Needham Line train service. Shuttle buses will accommodate passengers between Newton Highlands (for a Green Line connection), through Forest Hills (for an Orange Line connection).

Shuttle buses will operate on a dedicated schedule soon available on the MBTA website.

Please also consider a free bus connection with:
-MBTA Bus #35, #36 or #37 for service between West Roxbury/Highland/Bellevue/Roslindale Village and Forest Hills on the Orange Line.
-MBTA Bus #59 for service between Needham Junction/Needham Center/Needham Heights and Newton Highlands on the Green Line D.

The accessible mini high-level platforms at Beverly Depot will be closed for replacement through Summer 2024. Please board trains from the temporary boarding areas.

To cross the tracks, please use the pedestrian crossing in front of the Beverly Depot restaurant. Passengers may also consider travel to/from Salem station. MBTA Bus #451 provides accessible service to Salem from Cabot Street in Beverly.
