Gillette Stadium

Whether you’re headed to Gillette Stadium for a Patriots game, concert, or other event, you can take the MBTA to avoid traffic. You’ll arrive at Foxboro station, which is about a quarter of a mile from Gillette.

There are two ways to access Gillette:

  1. Take the Franklin/Foxboro Line to Foxboro station
  2. Take an event train to Foxboro station

Take the Franklin/Foxboro Line

The Franklin/Foxboro Line is a regular Commuter Rail service that isn’t timed to events at Gillette and has more stops on the way to Foxboro. Tickets are available through the mTicket app and fare vending machines.

What to Know Ahead of Time

For the Franklin/Foxboro Line, one-way tickets from South Station to Foxboro station are $8.75. You can purchase tickets through the mTicket app or at a fare vending machine.

The $10 Commuter Rail Weekend Pass and Commuter Rail Monthly Pass are both valid on the Franklin/Foxboro Line.

The last Franklin/Foxboro Line train may depart from Foxboro station before your event ends. Check the Franklin/Foxboro Line schedule for more information about stops and departure times.

Take an Event Train

Event trains are scheduled based on the start and end times of select events at Gillette. Tickets are limited and only available through the mTicket app.

What to Know Ahead of Time

If there’s an event train offered for your event, we highly recommend that you buy tickets before the day of the event because tickets can sell out. If they do, you can consider taking the Franklin/Foxboro Line.

Round trip tickets for Patriot games to Foxboro are $10. Round trip tickets for concerts to Foxboro are $20. Event trains leave from South Station in Boston and, for select events, Providence station in Rhode Island.

All event train tickets are round trip. Train schedules are based on the start and end time of your event at Gillette.

Tickets for event trains are only available on the mTicket app. Once you’ve purchased your ticket, you can access it through the app. Please note, event train tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.
