Newburyport/Rockport Line: Current

Spring 2017 Commuter Rail schedules go into effect on Monday, May 22nd. Paper schedules will be available at South Station, Back Bay, and North Station starting Monday, May 15th.

Schedules are now available online at mbta.com.

Schedule changes have been made to the Newburyport/Rockport, Haverhill, Fitchburg, Providence/Stoughton, and Worcester lines.
The Worcester Line schedule includes service to the new Boston Landing Station.
There are no schedule changes on the Lowell, Needham, Franklin, Fairmount, Middleboro/Lakeville, Kingston/Plymouth, or Greenbush lines. These schedules are only being re-printed without severe weather train designations.

Newburyport/Rockport Line: Ongoing

Newburyport/Rockport Line notice: The inbound mini-high platform at Beverly Station is closed for repairs. For those who require it, a portable lift is available.

Beverly: The pedestrian bridge from the Beverly Depot parking lot to the station is closed due to being struck by a vehicle.

Beginning on Monday, May 1, 2017, access to the east entrance of North Station will be through a covered walkway. Legends way will be closed to pedestrian access.

Customers are advised that on Monday, May 1, 2017, the pedestrian route for customers transferring from the Green and Orange Line exits at Causeway and Beverly St into North Station Commuter Rail will be moved slightly to accommodate ongoing construction work. After crossing Causeway St, pedestrians will use a protected walkway along the east side of Legends Way, directly abutting Portal Park. The walkway will include a barrier and kick-plate for blind and low vision passengers.
