Why Should You Tell The Conductor Your Destination Prior to Boarding The Train?

Customers who require a level surface to board and exit the train are reminded that some commuter rail stations are not accessible. Furthermore, the platforms at commuter rail stations are not all high level. As a result, you may need to exit the train through the use of a mini-high platform. Mini-high platforms are usually located at the far end of a low level platform. To ensure that you are in the appropriate place to exit the train using the mini-high platform, customers are reminded to tell the conductor their destination prior to boarding the train.
