Middleborough Virtual Community Meeting on South Coast Rail - POSTPONED
Attendees: General Public
This meeting has been postponed.
The Town of Middleborough was awaiting supporting documentation for an engineering review of elements of South Coast Rail, and it was not ready in time for review and discussion. Due to the comprehensive nature of the reports, officials want to take more time to review and ask questions within the town. We hope to announce new dates as soon as possible, likely in early fall 2020.
SCR wil be hosting similar virtual community meetings throughout the region, beginning this fall.
The South Coast Rail project team will present an update on Phase 1, the new Middleborough Station, and upcoming construction in Middleborough. Following the presentation, the team will be available to take feedback and answer questions.
If you wish to review the presentation and ask a question at a later date, you can participate in a follow-up virtual workshop session on Thursday, August 27, 6 – 7 PM, where attendees can speak with the project team and ask additional questions.
This is one of a series of community meetings that will be hosted by the MBTA. Future meetings in other communities will be announced via email and on the project website, mbta.com/southcoastrail.
If you have questions, please email the project team at SouthCoastRail@dot.state.ma.us.
The meeting is accessible to people with disabilities and those with limited proficiency in English. Accommodations and language services will be provided free of charge, upon request, as available. Such services include documents in alternate formats, translated documents, closed captions, and interpreters. For more information or to request a reasonable accommodation and/or language services, please email SouthCoastRail@dot.state.ma.us.
