Public Meeting | New Bedford South Coast Rail

Event Description

The MBTA held a virtual New Bedford Community Meeting on the South Coast Rail project, which included an update on Phase 1, the Wamsutta Layover Facility, Church Street Station, New Bedford Station, and ongoing construction in New Bedford. Following the presentation, the team was available to answer questions.

This is one of a series of community meetings that will be hosted by the MBTA. Future meetings in other communities will be announced via email and on the project website, mbta.com/southcoastrail.

Accommodations

This meeting is accessible to people with disabilities and those with limited proficiency in English. The MBTA is arranging to provide Spanish and Portuguese interpreters, as well as closed captions, during the meeting. Such services include documents in alternate formats, translated documents, and interpreters.
