Event Description
The MBTA, the City of Somerville, and Barletta Heavy Division, Inc. (the Phase 1 GLX contractor) will discuss planned upcoming detours and construction activity for the Medford Street Railroad Bridge beginning July 1, 2013. The Phase 1 contractor has proposed a three week shut down under the Medford Street Railroad Bridge to accommodate repairs and painting of the bridge structure. This will replace the originally planned three month duration of single-lane closures on Medford Street.
