Following the close of the public comment period on May 16th, we will further refine the CIP before bringing it to the MBTA Board of Directors for approval in June. The final FY 2025 – 2029 CIP will include a list of key topics mentioned in the public comments, as well as responses to each topic. It will go into effect on July 1.

The comments received during the CIP public engagement process help us better understand which investments the public would like us to prioritize. Additionally, your comments help guide the development of the current and future capital plans. Public feedback is important to the CIP development process, and we appreciate your input.
