As recovery work continues in the Merrimack Valley, MBTA Commuter Rail service on the Haverhill Line will remain limited this weekend. Train service will operate between Reading and North Station, while express bus service will be provided between Haverhill and Reading Station. Neither train nor bus service will be available between North Wilmington and Lawrence Stations on the Haverhill Line.
Customers can board buses at Haverhill or Bradford Stations for express bus trips to Reading Station, where they can board Commuter Rail trains headed to North Station. When outbound trains arrive at Reading Station, customers can board express buses to Bradford and Haverhill Stations. Buses will not be making stops in between.
MBTA and Keolis teams are in close contact with public safety officials, and service updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
