Special $10 round-trip fares for the month of June.

The CapeFLYER train which operates between Boston and Cape Cod will return for its 10th summer this Memorial Day weekend. To celebrate 10 years of CapeFLYER, passengers can purchase a special $10 fare for roundtrips during the month of June. CapeFLYER offers round-trip service on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Memorial Day to Labor Day with some additional service during holiday weekends. Tickets can be purchased through mTicket or at South Station. The schedule, fares, and route map are available on the CapeFLYER website.

“We’re excited to again offer this service with our partners at Keolis and CCRTA, and congratulate the CapeFLYER team on 10 years of service,” said MBTA General Manager and CEO Phillip Eng. “The CapeFLYER is another example of the importance we place on supporting transit services outside the scope of the traditional daily commute. We look forward to another successful CapeFLYER season while we demonstrate the benefits of using public transportation.”

“We are very excited to once again offer this popular summer service,” said Abdellah Chajai, General Manager and CEO, Keolis Commuter Services. “The CapeFLYER is an easy, traffic-free way to visit the Cape and Islands. We encourage everyone to explore Massachusetts this summer via special trains like the CapeFLYER or regular Commuter Rail Service.”

“We are very excited to be entering our 10th season of offering visitors and locals transportation to the Cape and Islands without encountering traffic. It’s wonderful to put the Cape’s 3rd bridge (the Rail bridge) into use to relieve the congestion summer weekends have on our infrastructure. We have worked closely with the Steamship Authority, Hy-Line and Island Queen ferry operators to provide seamless connections to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard,” said CCRTA Administrator Thomas Cahir. “We are excited to offer our loyal passengers this $10 round-trip fare for the entire month of June as a thank you to all of their years of ridership.”
