Updated on June 21, 2021

A rendering shows how a new bridge over Intervale Road in Weston will look upon completion

We’re removing the existing Intervale Road Bridge and placing the newly constructed superstructure into position. This bridge carries the Framingham/Worcester Line over Intervale Road in Weston.

What to Expect During this Work

Work will start on 8:00 PM on Friday, July 23 and end around 5:00 AM on Monday, July 26.

Service Impacts

Commuter Rail service on the Framingham/Worcester Line will be suspended after 10:00 PM on Friday, July 23 through 5:00 AM on Monday, July 26. Alternate bus transportation will be provided.

Neighborhood Impacts

Intervale Road will remain closed to travel. We will install signage indicating the detour route before construction begins. Drivers should avoid the area or seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
