• Service Change Ongoing

  On the weekends of July 9-10, 16-17, 30-31, and August 6-7 as well as on Thursday, August 4th & Friday, August 5th, shuttle buses will replace regular Lowell Line train service between Anderson/Woburn and North Station.   MBTA.com/northstation
  Shuttle schedule
  A schedule for the above dates will be available on July1st.
  Fares
  Train fares should be purchased between originating station and Anderson/Woburn. There is no cost to ride the bus shuttle.
  Improvements underway
  During this time, the existing, aged, signaling system, which controls all tracks in and around North Station, will be replaced with state-of the art technology. When installed, the new system will reduce signal failures and train delays, and improve efficiency and safety.

  Lowell Line notice: On Monday, July 4th, Train 1317 (11:00 pm from North Station) will be held until approximately 11:30 pm to accommodate those attending the Independence Day fireworks event.
  Service will be FREE after 9:30pm and bikes will not be allowed on board.
