Schedule Change OngoingThe new Spring Commuter Rail schedule is now in effect with more predictable and evenly spaced train times. In response to Covid-19, we continue to adapt our service to meet your needs.Weekend service continues to only operate on Newburyport/Rockport Line, Worcester Line, Providence Line, Fairmount Line, & Middleborough Line.
Due to an ongoing bus diversion between Littleton and Alewife, the Fichburg Line will continue to operate on a Winter schedule through May 2nd. The new Spring schedule will be published in April.
The following stations will close until further notice when the Spring schedule takes effect:
-Plimptonville on the Franklin Line
-Prides Crossing on the Rockport Line
-Plymouth on the Kingston Line
The following stations will remain closed until further notice:
-Winchester Center on the Lowell Line
-South Attleboro on the Providence Line
-Silver Hill on the Fitchburg Line
-Hastings on the Fitchburg Line
-Adjustments on the Providence Line:
all riders traveling to/from Wickford Junction and TF Green will NOT need a connection for continued service.
For additional inbound & outbound Hyde Park service, riders are encouraged to reference the Franklin Line schedules.
-Adjustments on the Worcester Line:
Flag stops at Auburndale - Newtonville has been updated to:
Train 596 (7:10pm from Framingham)
Train 532 (8:20pm from Worcester)
Train 536 (9:20pm from Worcester)
The new Newton Connection Railbus will now provide services at Auburndale - Newtonville for connections to:
Newton Highlands or Riverside for continued Green Line service, or Wellesley Farms for continued train service.
Schedules are available on MBTA.com and in South Station, North Station and Back Bay.

Buses may leave intermediate stops early. Other weekend busing in effect, MBTA.com/RKPworkThe following train will run one stop further to West Gloucester, and shuttles will run from West Gloucester to Rockport instead:
