Newtonville Station Site Visit for Seniors, People with Disabilities
Attendees: Seniors and people with disabilities
Help us review accessibility of MBTA's Commuter Rail stations in Newton.
The MBTA seeks seniors and people with disabilities to participate in site visit sessions and workshops concerning the existing Newtonville, West Newton, and Auburndale Commuter Rail Stations, and replacement stations now being planned.
We want to hear your ideas about how the new stations can best be designed to meet your needs. You will receive an Amazon gift card in exchange for your participation.
Upon request, IHCD will provide auxiliary aids and services leading to effective communication for people with disabilities and older people, including qualified sign language interpreters, assistive listening devices, documents in braille, and other ways of making communications accessible to people who have speech, hearing, or vision limitations. To request an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, including a foreign language interpreter (Chinese, Spanish, Russian) or a modification of policies or procedures, please contact Jan Carpman, PhD, firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible, preferably 14 days before the event.
