Codman Yard Expansion and Improvements, May 2022
The Codman Yard Expansion and Improvements Project has reached 100% design. This project improves safety and reliability for all Red Line riders. Replacing all existing tracks allows for less noise generated and faster turn-back times. Improvements include storage tracks, car wash, bypass tracks, loop track, six new storage tracks. Yards and their facilities provide cleaner and safer service for Red Line riders.
