Green Line Transformation Weekly Progress Update: February 21 – 26

GLT projects will improve safety, reliability, and access for Green Line riders and the surrounding communities.
Last week, crews began drilling shafts for the foundation of the new Amory St Station on the B Branch. The project is now at 6% completion.
Crews also worked on the Lechmere Viaduct Rehabilitation, installing rebar and other structural reinforcements along the piers. Construction is now 54% complete.

As part of our $9.6 billion, 5-year capital investment plan, we're renovating stations, modernizing fare collection systems, upgrading services for our buses, subways, and ferries, and improving the accessibility of the entire system.
