Green Line Transformation Weekly Progress Update: February 28 – March 5

GLT projects will improve safety, reliability, and access for Green Line riders and the surrounding communities.
Last weekend, crews decommissioned Pleasant St. Station as part of the B Branch Consolidation. The project is now at 7% completion.
Crews also installed rail ties and made structural repairs to the Lechmere Viaduct Rehabilitation. Construction is now 54% complete.

As part of our $9.6 billion, 5-year capital investment plan, we're renovating stations, modernizing fare collection systems, upgrading services for our buses, subways, and ferries, and improving the accessibility of the entire system.
