Green Line Transformation Weekly Progress Update: March 7 – 12

GLT projects will improve safety, reliability, and access for Green Line riders and the surrounding communities.
Last week, crews completed demolition of Pleasant St Station and began utility work at Babcock St Station on the Green Line B. The B Branch Consolidation is now 11% complete.
Crews also installed new tracks and rebar as part of the Lechmere Viaduct Rehabilitation. Construction is now 55% complete.

As part of our $9.6 billion, 5-year capital investment plan, we're renovating stations, modernizing fare collection systems, upgrading services for our buses, subways, and ferries, and improving the accessibility of the entire system.
