Bicycle Rack Installation at Quincy Adams

Updated on April 29, 2019

Due to work in and around the busway at Quincy Adams, we are removing 30 existing bicycle racks and temporarily replacing them with 30 alternate racks, in a nearby location within the busway. Alternate bicycle racks will be placed before the existing racks’ removal, and will remain in place until new, permanent racks are installed.

We’ll also be increasing our total bicycle storage capacity at Quincy Adams. A bicycle cage will be added with more than 100 dual bicycle racks, for a total capacity of over 200 bicycles within the cage. The new cage and racks, which will replace the existing racks, are scheduled to be installed at the end of 2020.

More bicycle racks will also be installed at the Independence Avenue entrance, anticipated for the summer 2019.
