Service Change (Ongoing)
Last Updated: 10/16/2018 02:11POn weekends, through 10/28, Middleboro & Kingston line trains will originate/terminate at Braintree Station due to demolition of the Quincy Ctr garage. Riders will connect to Red Line shuttle buses & then subway at N. Quincy for service to S. Station.Middleborough Line trains that normally bypass Braintree will stop there approximately 5 minutes after they regularly are scheduled to arrive/depart Quincy Center.

Train and shuttle buses will be free. Passengers will pay for connecting subway service between Boston and North Quincy. Please allow additional time to reach Braintree Station. -
Station Issue (Ongoing)
Last Updated: 9/25/2018 10:23PThe pedestrian bridge at the Braintree Parking Garage will be closed through Summer 2020 due to construction.For access to Braintree Station during this closure, travel down to the first floor and use the pedestrian crosswalk to enter the station at the street level.
This closure is due to the South Shore Parking Garages Improvements and Renovations Project. The pedestrian bridge will be replaced by a new garage lobby featuring elevators and stairwells.
