Shuttle UpcomingShuttle buses replace Red Line service between Harvard and Alewife on weekends through April 28, excluding April 13-14, due to track work.Both Ashmont- and Braintree-bound trains will board at the Harvard northbound (upper) platform.
Shuttle buses replace Red Line service between Harvard and Alewife in both directions on weekends from start to end of service, except the weekend of April 13-14. The diversion will allow maintenance crews to perform necessary rail, tie, and track work. Learn more here:

Shuttle UpcomingBus shuttles replace Red Line train service between North Quincy and Braintree stations on weeknights at about 8:45 PM from April 8 through May 10 (except April 15).From April 8 through May 10 (except April 15), the Braintree Branch Shuttle will run Monday through Friday, starting at 8:45 PM. This diversion is part of the Wollaston Station improvements. Learn more about the project here:

Station Issue OngoingThe pedestrian bridge at the Braintree Parking Garage will be closed through Summer 2020 due to construction.For access to Braintree Station during this closure, travel down to the first floor and use the pedestrian crosswalk to enter the station at the street level.
This closure is due to the South Shore Parking Garages Improvements and Renovations Project. The pedestrian bridge will be replaced by a new garage lobby featuring elevators and stairwells.

Station Issue OngoingThe pedestrian walkway near Kendall/MIT Station (inbound) is closed until further notice due to MIT construction.Access to the Kendall/MIT Station will remain open and accessible on the Main Street side of the station throughout this construction.
The pedestrian plaza between Carleton Street and Main Street in Kendall Square will be closed due to the construction of an underground garage.
Customers are encouraged to utilize alternative paths to/from the station using the paths on Ames Street, Dock Street, or Wadsworth Street.

Service Change UpcomingPlease board both Oak Grove- and Forest Hills-bound trains on the northbound (Oak Grove) platform at Wellington during the weekend of April 6 - 7.Due to expansion construction at the Wellington Carhouse, trains in both directions will share a single track through Wellington Station from start of service on Saturday, April 6, through end of service on Sunday, April 7.
Please allow extra time for your travels. Regular boarding will resume with the start of service on the following Monday morning.

On the weekends of March 30-31 and April 6-7, shuttles will start Friday at 8:30 PM.This project is part of the MBTA initiative to bring the Green Line track into a state of good repair.
Riders should anticipate an extra 20 minutes of travel time. All shuttle bus stops are fully accessible.
