Green Line Transformation Weekly Progress Update: March 14 – 19

Crews worked on the D Branch Track and Signal replacement in summer 2020, before work was paused for the season.
Crews worked on the D Branch Track and Signal Replacement through fall 2020 before major construction activity was paused for the winter season. Work resumed earlier this week.

GLT projects will improve safety, reliability, and access for Green Line riders and the surrounding communities.

Work resumed on the D Branch Track and Signal Replacement this week, as crews began bringing in construction equipment and replacing signals at Newton Highlands. The project is now at 72% completion.
