Whether you’re headed to Gillette for a Patriots game, concert, or special event, you can avoid traffic and parking by taking the Commuter Rail. Trains leave from South Station in Boston and Providence Station in Rhode Island.

You’ll arrive at Foxboro Station, a short walk to Gillette.

Fares and Passes

Round trip event tickets to Foxboro are $20.

Please note that regular Commuter Rail tickets and passes (including the $10 weekend pass) are not valid for game or event trains.

Patriots Games

Trains are scheduled for every Patriots game played at Gillette.

From Boston

You must buy tickets before boarding for trips from South Station, Back Bay, and Dedham Corporate Center.

You can buy tickets up to one week before the game through the mTicket app, at South Station or Back Bay. 

On game days during the Patriots’ regular season, for 1 hour prior to departure, you can buy tickets from the CharlieVan at Dedham Corporate Center.

From Providence

You can buy tickets up to 1 week before the game through the mTicket app, or at South Station or Back Bay. 

You can also buy tickets on board for trips from all stations.

no service Note: This season, all trains from Rhode Island will depart from Providence Station.

Rules and Etiquette

Anything that is prohibited at Gillette Stadium is also prohibited on trains, including large bags and backpacks. Any personal items left on trains will be discarded.

Alcohol is prohibited on the Commuter Rail.

Masks on the T

Riders are no longer required to wear a mask while on the T, except for on The RIDE. The MBTA continues to follow CDC guidelines in encouraging people to wear face masks on public transit. Please respect your fellow passengers' decisions.
